This year we had our annual picnic in September to coincide with the new school year and our new membership year. Our group met at a park in Tacoma where TPOM provided the main dishes of hamburgers and hotdogs. Members brought side dishes and desserts, potluck-style.
We had an informal survivor 101 with new parents who brought their sweet twin baby girls! The older kids ran around and played together while the parents could catch up with each other and share strategies of what worked for them in the past.
There was smoke in the sky from the wild fires, which also kept some families home. Looking forward to seeing everyone at our next event at the pumpkin patch!
