Tacoma Parents of Multiples [TPOM] is a non-profit volunteer organization open to all parents/guardians of multiple birth children in Tacoma, WA, Pierce county, Thurston county, and surrounding areas.
TPOM was founded in 1969 by a group of families who came together to share resources, information, their joys and their challenges as they raised their children. Today’s TPOM families continue to uphold this tradition by celebrating the blessings of having identical/fraternal same-aged children and by sharing information and resources with one another.
Raising multiples comes with unique challenges and through TPOM, our members find support and friendship in a non-judgmental setting. Parents are free to share their successes as well as their struggles. We are so happy to welcome you and your family into the TPOM community, and look forward to meeting all of you at an upcoming TPOM meeting. Our meetings take place the third Thursday of the month (subject to change) September through June.
6:30-7:30 pm Survivor 101
**Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we have moved to virtual meetings, if you would like to attend Survivor 101 email tpom_vp@tacomamultiples.org for more information **
Survivor 101 offers small group attention for those who are expecting multiples or are in their first year of parenthood.
7:30-9:00 pm Tacoma Parents of Multiples Meeting
This is the regular TPOM Meeting. Moms, dads, guests, and non-crawling infants are always welcome.
In addition to our private and public Facebook groups, monthly meetings, special events, and playdates, we also partner with Rhea Lana Consignment Sale. It’s a great way to get rid of items your children have outgrown, get new gently used items for your kids at a great price, as well as help the club raise money.
We have several different programs within our group that are available for you to benefit from! Feel free to contact any/all of our chair members to inquire about receiving info or help from their program.
